The integration of Human Resource Management (HRM) and Operations Management (OM) presents a significant opportunity for enhancing organizational efficiency and performance. However, the synergy between these two domains remains underexplored in both research and practice. In response, we developed a conceptual framework that aligns HRM practices such as Lean HR and workforce analytics with operational strategies including Lean Operations and supply chain optimization. Drawing upon Resource-Based View and Dynamic Capabilities Theory, we explored how this integration fosters organizational agility, continuous improvement, and competitive advantage. We found that the alignment of HRM and OM practices is crucial for creating a responsive workforce capable of meeting dynamic operational demands. Theoretical contributions include bridging the gap between HRM and OM literature and providing a foundation for future empirical research. Practical recommendations include implementing integrated analytics systems, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and developing industry-specific adaptation strategies. This paper offers insights into how organizations can achieve sustainable performance through strategic HRM-OM integration, which may challenge traditional organizational structures and management approaches.
